Description

An emulsifier, thickener, and stabilizer created by adding a steric acid molecule to sorbitol. It is a waxy substance used in foods for many reasons such as foaming agent in beverages, to help chocolate coatings not taste greasy, and aid in absorption of fat soluble vitamins in supplements.
